Many people will have experienced
financial hardship at some point in their lives. Nowadays,
with so much help and advice available, it is easier
to cope with debt and find practical solutions to resolving
debt issues. Here at CBA we have skilled professionals
trained in this type of insolvency work and they are
there to explain terms such as bankruptcy
and individual
voluntary arrangements, which are the two principal
methods used in these given situations.
What can CBA do for you?
When we meet you to discuss your
debt problems, we would normally discuss in detail all
of your personal income and expenditure (click
here to download the form). This enables us to make
an accurate assessment of your current financial position
and to give you advice as to which route is best for
you. Don’t be put off by the detail contained within
the form as this is for guidance use only. You may have
some of the items listed and you need to add additional
ones which are relevant to your own situation.
The most important thing to remember
is that failure to act early, on your part, may result
in your situation getting out of hand. Don’t allow yourself
to become the “Ostrich”. Be pro-active and seek out
help.
If your creditors have commenced
legal action against you it is even more important to
pick up the phone to us as we can talk you through the
legal process of fighting statutory demands, warrants
of execution, bailiffs, sheriffs, court orders, petitions,
and all the other legal terms which you may not be familiar
with.
CBA recognise that most people
lead very busy lives and do not have the time to spend
talking on the telephone or visiting our offices. We
will come to you at your convenience. Alternatively,
you can complete a more detailed Questionnaire and e-mail
it to us.
